blog-blog-an nga lang ba?

I am really glad that I've been into blogging. As I've said in my very 1st blog... hindi talaga ko writer. Sabi nga pwede naman daw i-develop yun. Practice makes perfect di ba? Well, let's just wait and see if it works for me. "Lord, please help me!" Hahaha!

One good thing I like about this blogging activity is that I get to read stuffs & articles about the people that I've worked with before and should I say at the level of "ACQUAINTANCE" lang ang connection namin. Hindi man kami naging close while they were still here in HICAP, I now have a chance to know them thru their blogs.

Kung sino-sino sila, tignan niyo na lang sa list ng MY BLOG LIST ko.

Their works are inspiring, touching and motivating. It's as if they were born writers. Kakainggit!

In time, I hope I can find that talent to write blogs. As in blog talaga... hindi blog-blog-an lang!

Elijah turns 1

March 28, 2010

Our tabachingching turns 1 year old already. Thank you to Ninong Lloyd for the layout of Elijah's invitation and birthday tarp.

Party was held at VILLA CRISTINA RESORT, Silmer Subdivision, Binan, Laguna. Thanks to Ninong Kit for the venue!

Party was supposed to start by 930AM. But for some reasons, guests arrived almost at the same time which is 1030AM the earliest. Wow... talaga namang Filipino Time. Tsk.. Tsk.. Tsk..

So while waiting for the guests, we just had our picture taking first.

Good thing about having a party host is that they take care of everything, kids activity while waiting for the other guests to arrive, program execution and games facilitation.
See Elijah's attempt to do coloring. Akala mo marunong na siya! Hahaha!
"Tita Girlie (the party host), finish!"
In the mood for picture taking. I'm glad we had one before the party started.
There were fun games that I opted not to post photos since medyo hahaba na itong blog na ito.
What happened after the games and eating time is the BUBBLE ART SHOW! Well, it's our first time to see one.
Kuya Acee and buddy-buddy Mikel inside the big bubble.

The cake ceremony! Happy Birthday Elijah! Happy Birthday Elijah! Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday Elijah! Blow Elijah! Blow! Thank you Kuya Acee for helping!

And so the kiddie party ended and swimming party begins!
Party was fun and memorable!
Thanks to all those who came!

Proud of our Kuya Acee...

When Kuya Acee got a YELLOW star in his class on 1st Quarter of SY 2009-2010, we were very happy. Well, I know that he's very smart but I was not that confident that he will top his class.

2nd Quarter came and he still got a yellow star but this time together with another classmate of his who got a red star last quarter.

Can you guess what he got on the 3rd Quarter period?
Naaah?!?! Not a yellow star this time but a RED star. He was down to 2nd place. Like most parents would feel, we felt sad because he wasn't able to maintain the Top 1 spot. I remember when we got his 3rd Quarter Class Card, we asked his teacher if he's not being able to catch up with the lessons. Teacher said, "OK naman siya sa subjects niya Mommy. Yun nga lang, very talkative na siya ngayon. Kasi everytime we do seatworks. inuuna niya turuan yung katabi niya and he talks to his other classmates while doing seatwork kaya pag malapit na mag TIME IS UP... minamadali na niya yung gawa niya."

Hahaha! Ironic talaga... Acee was so quiet during his 1st few days/weeks in school. Minsan nga sabi ko sa sarili ko baka mailap si Acee sa tao at classmates niya. Aba ngayon naman... sumobra sa daldal! Funny talaga!

On their 4th Quarter exam, na-shock ako kasi COVER to COVER ang exam nila. Hala?!?!? When he showed us his exam papers after several days wala atang perfect score. So we did not expect anything sa 4th quarter.

But surprisingly, Acee got the 1st Honor Medal last March 27, 2010 for Nursery-Faith class. When his dad went up on stage to pin his medal, he looked at me and gave me a THUMBS UP sign. Boy, I was so proud of him!

Thanks to teacher Tere for her patience to all Nursery students!

Thanks to teacher Mely (school directress) for always guiding our kids in CKLC!

Thanks to God for giving us Acee and Elijah!

Congratulations Kuya Acee! We love you! We are so proud of you!
GOOD JOB!
